Troubleshooting Location Tracking

If location tracking isn’t working, follow these steps:
  1. Confirm FlexiSPY is Active (read this)
    1. If FlexiSPY is not active, create a support ticket from inside your customer account.
  2. Ensure Location Tracking is Enabled
    1. In your portal, go to Location > GPS Tools > Start Location Tracking > ON
  3.  Check Data Delivery Settings
    1. Read this
  4. If location tracking still doesn't work, use the Command Tracker
    1. From the portal, Request On-Demand Location
    2. Wait 10 minutes
    3. Click the Bell Icon
    4. Compare the results you see with the results below
Command Results

Successful:



In the example above, on demand location command worked. But if automatic tracking fails, it may be due to location permissions.
  1. On the target device:
Open 'Settings > Apps > Sync Services > Permissions > Location'
Set to Allow all the time

Unsuccessful:



If you see the example result above, then the issue is one of the following

a. Sync Services lacks location permission
  1. On the device, Go to Settings > Apps > Sync Services > Permissions > Location
  2. Set to Allow all the time
b. Device location is OFF
  1. On the device, Go to Settings > Location > Location Services
  2. Make sure location is ON
If all else fails, create a support ticket from inside your customer account.
