How FlexiSPY Delivers Data
FlexiSPY delivers data (also known as
Events) on the following basis
- Events are delivered when a specified number of Events are captured (Event count)
- Events are delivered regularly and periodically at a time interval. This is called the Delivery timer
- The Delivery timer starts when the device is powered on
- Delivery can be attempted via Wi-Fi only, or via any connection available (for example, Cellular data)
- Wi-Fi only is useful when you wish to preserve battery life or reduce data charges
- If no connection is available obviously no new Events will be delivered
Configuring Data Delivery Settings
In order to balance power consumptions against frequency of delivery you can configure Delivery settings for your needs
Navigate to the Data Delivery page
- Go to Help -> Device Settings
- Click Data Delivery -> Change Application Settings ->
- Scroll down to Change Delivery Settings
Recommendation for minimum battery drain
- Increase Event count to 10 or higher depending on the battery life you require and how intensively the device is used
- Increase Delivery timer to 3 hours or higher
Recommendation for best performance
For the best performance leave the settings to default (Max events = 1) and (Delivery timer = 1 Hour)
