Can't Download Media / Can't Play Media File

Most media files such as Call Recordings and Ambient Recordings can be downloaded or played using the download / play icon.

However, some customers cannot download or play media files from the portal using these icons.

In this case we recommend the following

Can't Download Media File

  1. If the download button does not work, simply right click on the download button, and select 'Save link as'
  2. Images can be downloaded by right-clicking on the image and choosing 'save as'.  Samples of these can be seen below.

Can't Play Media Files

  1. Download the file to your computer and open with your favorite media app
  2. For playing videos, we recommend using VLC media player
  3. For viewing images, use the Windows Photo app or Mac's Preview app

Get File Not Working

  1. For Video and Audio Files stored on the target device, captured files are kept on the device until you request them using the 'Get File' button.

  2. After you've identified a file you wish to download, click 'Get File' and the file will be made available to you to download, and you should see a 'Download' button.

  3. However, if the file has been deleted or moved before you request to 'Get File', you will not see a 'Download' button and the 'Get File' request will never finish. To avoid this problem, please use 'Get File' as soon as you can.
