Browsing Activity not capturing
Web Activity, Browser Search, or Browser Videos is no longer capturing browsing activities
Reasons
1. The '
Accessibility' setting has been disabled on the target device
2. Third party application interfering with FlexiSPY (anti virus or security applications)
3. The browser is not supported
- For Android - Samsung Internet, Firefox, Chrome (Google App is a non-browser and will not capture browsing activity)
- For iPhone / iPad - Safari
Action
- Check if Accessibility is enabled.
- Log in to portal > click the bell icon
- Click 'Request Logs' > 'Request Debug Logs Now'
- Click 'View Logs' > then click on a log to expand it
- Search (Ctrl+f) for 'Accessibility' and check if it is ON or OFF
- If Accessibility is disabled, obtain physical access to the target device and re-enable Accessibility.
- If Accessibility is already enabled, get the phone in your hand and disable and re-enable it.
If browsing activity is still not being captured, it is possible that third-party security applications are interfering with FlexiSPY and these will need to be removed or disabled. To check:
- Log in your portal > go to 'Installed Applications' list > search the list for common anti-virus software such as Avast, McAfee, Norton, Bitdefender, and so on
- If you see one of these applications, it is possible it is interfering with FlexiSPY and you'll need to get the phone in your hand to remove the software
