Why I am getting "Duplicate command received, this will be discarded" error?


You are unable to request a RemVid, RemCam or Ambient Recording command due to "Error Duplicate command received, this will be discarded" message.


Reasons

You have requested a RemVid, RemCam, or Ambient Recording using Enhanced Stealth Mode. If the target device is active or the screen is on, the command cannot be executed immediately, and the client will wait until the device becomes idle. If you send another request in the meantime, a duplicate error will occur, and the request will be discarded.

Actions

  1. Avoid sending multiple commands when this error appears
  2. Wait for the target device to become idle
  3. Once it is idle, the client will proceed to execute the initial command
  4. After the command is processed, you can then request a new one
