Remote Shutdown


Remote shutdown allows you to remotely shutdown the device from your online dashboard

Pre-Requisites

  1. The phone screen must be on and unlocked when you request the remote shutdown command.
    1. If the screen is off, the command will be rejected, and you will have to request the command again once the screen is unlocked
  2. The command does not work for devices that have a slide-to-shutdown confirmation-dialog. It only works with devices that have a tap-to-shutdown confirmation dialog

    1. The command should work on most Samsung phones

Instructions

1. From your portal, open Help > Device settings > Device Controls
2. Ensure the target device phone screen is on and unlocked
3. Click Turn off device now
