Remote Restart


Remote restart allows you to remotely restart the device from your online dashboard

Pre-Requisites

  1. The phone screen must be on and unlocked when you request the remote restart command.
    1. If the screen is off, the command will be rejected, and you will have to request the command again once the screen is unlocked
  2. The command does not work for devices that have a slide-to-restart confirmation-dialog. It only works with devices that have a tap-to-restart confirmation dialog


    1. The command should work on most Samsung phones

Instructions

1. From your portal, open Help > Device Settings > Device Controls
2. Ensure the target device phone screen is on and unlocked
3. Click Restart device now
4. Visually check that the device restarts
